Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Studio Sonrai, Gurugram. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our design and execution teams through accurate quantifications, BOQ preparations, and cost estimations for various building and interior projects. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and project manager to ensure precise and efficient tendering and estimation workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed quantification and Bill of Quantities for building and interior works.
Conduct cost estimation for tender submissions and project budgeting.
Collaborate with design and technical teams to ensure quantities align with drawings and specification.
Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive quantity takes-offs.
Assist in valve engineering, material comparisons, and cost optimization.
Ensure documentation accuracy and maintain estimation records.
Use relevant software for take-offs and cost planning.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably in the building construction and interior design industry.
Strong proficiency in preparing BOQs, cost estimations, and quantity take-offs, for architectural and interior projects.
Expertise in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and exposure to project drawing and specifications.
Familiarity with on-screen take-off software like PlanSwift, or similar tools.
Deep understanding of construction materials, industry rates, and estimation practices.
Ability to analyze technical drawings, specification, and vendor data for accurate cost analysis.
Excellent numerical accuracy, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
Strong communication and coordination skills to work efficiently.
